What makes this union so distinctive is the freedom of its configuration: the two elements do not have a fixed mounting angle, and therefore can open the ensemble up to a linear setup.
The supporting structure of the desk is a skeleton, like the hull of a boat. Above this “hull” is the “bridge” structure at the top. The whole setup rests on the Victoria sideboard.
