The immediate observation was how beautiful they were, with their impossible shapes, their irregular angles: and above all, that combining fragments of different colors, they acquired beauty, and a remarkable communicative power. That’s where the idea of creating a mosaic came, using irregular tiles, laid out on a black background, and enriched by the work of edging each fragment with seams.

Mosaic panels have no other function than to show the beauty of leather even in its minimal and worthless fragments. In reality the value is there, it is an added value, and it’s all the novelty of the idea and in the execution of the piece.
