Furnishing a villa on Lake Como
A villa on Lake Como. The heart of the house: a living room and a large kitchen opening onto a meticulously well-maintained outdoor area. The owner, a passionate cook, requested that the kitchen be focal point of the house.

The kitchen and dining area
A large space, fully equipped with gas and induction hobs, an oven, a wood-burning oven, a stove … a chef’s outfit. This is not to be understood as a sort of set design but rather as an area of common use, where the kitchen can be reached easily for the preparation of anything from simple lunches to meals for special occasions. The workbench is equipped with Varenne stools to experience this functional space during the most intimate moments of the day such as breakfast-time.
The technological feel given by the many professional steel appliances that are visible, is warmed by the soft tones of the wood and leather surfaces. The spacious kitchen opens onto the dining area, with the large Versilia table and Baia chairs, in which ivory and mud-toned leather is combined with the deliberately wavy and personality-rich grain of Canaletto walnut.
The dining table faces the ample portico which opens onto the lawn bordered by plants and flowers. Sydney armchairs and the Zefiro coffee table are used for this area of relaxation connecting the inside with the outside.
